About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, expand market presence, and build strong relationships with key clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in driving revenue, managing business development processes, and leading teams. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Growth: Develop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth, expand market share, and achieve company targets.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and acquire new clients while nurturing and strengthening relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
Sales Leadership: Lead complex sales processes, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation, proposal development, and deal closure.
Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Team Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients. Mentor and guide junior business development staff.
Contract Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Negotiate terms and structure deals that align with both client and company objectives, ensuring long-term profitable partnerships.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor sales pipeline, prepare detailed reports, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to senior management for decision-making.
Key Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a strong plus).
· 5 – 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales management, or key account management, preferably in B2B markets.
· Strong network of industry contacts and ability to develop high-level client relationships.
· Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
· Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
· Experience in managing large accounts and high-value deals.
· Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) and MS Office.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
