We are looking for a motivated Business Development Engineer to support our sales and project acquisition activities. This is a field-oriented role involving client meetings with architects, builders, and end customers, along with technical responsibilities such as preparing BOQs, estimates, and proposals. The role is ideal for civil engineering graduates seeking a career in technical sales and business development within the interiors and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, referrals, and networking with architects, builders, contractors, and consultants.

• Meet prospective clients to understand project requirements and present company services.

• Follow up on leads, proposals, and negotiations to convert opportunities into confirmed projects.

• Maintain and update the CRM / lead tracking system regularly.

Technical & Estimation Support

• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and basic project proposals based on drawings and site requirements.

• Assist in preparing quotations, scope of work, and technical presentations for clients.

• Conduct site visits for measurements, feasibility checks, and coordination with the design and execution teams.
  

Client Coordination

• Act as a single point of contact between the client, design team, and project team during the pre-sales stage.

• Support in clarifying technical queries and ensuring accurate communication of client requirements.

• Help in handover of projects from sales to execution teams.
  

Market & Brand Development

• Build professional relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners.

• Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market opportunities.

• Represent the company at site meetings, exhibitions, and industry networking events.

Candidate Profile

Education:

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related field)

Experience:

• 0–1 year (Freshers with strong interest in sales, estimation, and fieldwork are encouraged to apply)
