Position: Back Office Sales Executive/Bde/electrical service engineer
Industry: Electrical / Power / Genset / Panels / Solar (as applicable)
The Back Office Sales Executive will support the sales team by managing client inquiries, preparing quotations, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with service/technical teams. The role requires strong communication skills, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to handle customers professionally.
Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp, emails, and customer inquiries.
Understand client requirements related to electrical products (DG sets, AMF panels, switchgear, cables, solar systems, etc.).
Provide product details, pricing, and availability to customers.
Follow up with leads and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Prepare quotations, cost sheets, proforma invoices, and purchase orders.
Maintain updated price lists, product catalogs, and datasheets.
Coordinate with suppliers for price updates & technical information.
Record all inquiries and quotations in Excel/CRM.
Coordinate with the technical/service team for site visits, installation, or service updates.
Follow up with customers for payments, order status, and dispatch.
Communicate with logistics for timely material delivery.
Basic understanding of electrical products:
Generators (kVA/KW rating)
Panels (AMF, ATS, PCC, MCC)
Electrical protection systems
Cables, breakers, switchgear
Solar systems (optional)
Ability to understand technical specifications & client requirements.
Daily reporting of inquiries, follow-ups, and sales performance.
Maintain customer data, order status, and follow-up schedules.
Graduate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Any Graduate with electrical industry experience.
1–3 years of experience in back office / inside sales (preferred).
Good communication skills (Hindi & English).
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and WhatsApp Business tools.
Ability to prepare quotations & read basic technical details.
Multitasking and time management skills.
Experience with DG set, AMF panel, solar or electrical sales.
CRM/ERP usage experience.
Basic understanding of GST billing & documentation.
