We are seeking a driven and experienced Area Sales Officer to lead sales operations and drive revenue growth within a defined geographic territory. This role demands a strategic thinker who can manage a team, execute territory plans, and consistently deliver on aggressive sales targets. You’ll be expected to not only hit the numbers but to build and maintain a competitive edge in your area through smart planning, relentless follow-up, and strong stakeholder management.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Develop and execute area-level sales strategies aligned with company targets.
· Manage, mentor, and drive performance of Territory Sales Officers/Executives.
· Monitor KPIs and sales performance metrics; adjust tactics as needed to meet or exceed targets.
· Identify new business opportunities and key accounts to penetrate.
· Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
· Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback loops.
· Ensure timely reporting, forecasting, and CRM data accuracy.
· Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements and skills
· Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Business, Marketing, or related field.
· 5–10 years of proven sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
· Deep understanding of the regional market and channel dynamics.
· Strong negotiation, people management, and communication skills.
· Must be self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
