Position: Store Manager
Department: Store / Inventory
Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall store operations, ensuring efficient inventory control and stock availability.
Handle the purchase of food and non-food items as per approved requirements and company standards.
Prepare purchase orders, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely receipt of materials.
Issue stock to production, kitchen, or operational departments against authorized requisitions.
Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, stock issues, transfers, and returns in the inventory system.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and investigate inventory discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Ensure proper storage of food items following FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
Prepare and submit the Daily Food Closing Report, including:
Opening stock
Purchases received
Stock issued
Food consumption
Closing stock
Wastage and variance analysis
Coordinate with the kitchen, purchasing, and finance departments to reconcile inventory records.
Monitor food cost, minimize wastage, and ensure compliance with company inventory policies.
Supervise store staff and maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and safety within the store.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and purchase reports for management review.
Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded and supported by proper documentation.
