Job Overview -

Rupeeland Mart is looking for an experienced, customer-focused, and result-oriented Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, manage staff, maintain inventory, and ensure an excellent customer shopping experience. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, retail knowledge, and the ability to achieve business targets while maintaining store standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

• Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.

• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, visual merchandising, and product displays.

• Monitor opening and closing procedures, billing, cash handling, and daily transactions.

2. Sales & Business Development

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue.

• Encourage upselling, cross-selling, and customer engagement.

• Track category-wise sales and identify opportunities for improvement.

3. Team Management

• Supervise, guide, and motivate sales executives and other store staff.

• Manage staff attendance, punctuality, shift scheduling, and task allocation.

• Train team members on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.

• Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback.

4. Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor stock availability, replenishment, and product movement.

• Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory checks.

• Minimize stock discrepancies, damage, shrinkage, and pilferage.

• Coordinate with the inventory and purchase teams for timely replenishment.

5. Customer Service

• Ensure a positive and professional customer experience.

• Handle customer complaints, escalations, returns, and exchange issues according to company policy.

• Resolve customer concerns promptly and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Ensure staff provide accurate product information and assistance.

6. Reporting & Administration

• Prepare and submit daily sales and operational reports.

• Monitor cash reconciliation, billing accuracy, and store expenses.

• Maintain records of attendance, stock, sales, and operational issues.

• Report business performance and important concerns to senior management.

Eligibility Criteria

• 3–6 years of relevant retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or store management role.

• Experience in handling store staff, sales targets, and inventory.

• Ability to manage customer escalations and daily operational challenges.

• Willingness to work according to store schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.
