Job Title: Retail Store Manager

Knya is India’s leading online medical apparel brand. The brand was founded in 2021 by husband-wife duo, Vanshika and Abhijeet Kaji. The vision of Knya is to fill in the gap of functional and fashionable medical apparel for the medical industry across the country at multiple levels.

Knya has raised seed funding, led by DSG Consumer Partners, with participation from the promoter family of Narayana Health and Cipla Health amongst others. Since inception, Knya products have been delivered to 900+ cities and 200+ medical institutes across India.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for customer service. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the store's operations, allocating responsibilities, and ensuring the store runs smoothly.

• Supervising and guiding staff to maximize performance.

• Ensuring the store complies with all legal health and safety guidelines.

• Planning and overseeing in-store promotional events or display.

• Analyzing sales and revenue reports and making forecasts.

• Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions.

• Report to senior management on progress and issues.

• Monitoring stock levels and purchases to ensure they stay within budget.

Must have:

• 2+ year's experience in retail management, preferably overseeing stores.

• Willingness to travel between store locations as needed.

• Ability to motivate and develop diverse teams effectively.

• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with inventory management and loss prevention strategies.

• Experience in designing and implementing training programs.

• Proficiency in more than one language can be a plus, depending on the customer base.

• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
