Position: Spare Parts Manager

Reporting To: Dealer / General Manager
Job Purpose
To efficiently manage the dealership’s spare parts operations by ensuring right parts, right stock, right pricing and timely availability, while maintaining inventory control and supporting the Service and Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day spare parts counter, warehouse and inventory operations.
- Maintain adequate stock of fast-moving and critical tractor spare parts.
- Prepare and process parts orders and procurement from OEMs and authorized suppliers.
- Monitor stock levels, identify shortages and ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, transfers, returns and stock adjustments.
- Ensure proper storage, identification and systematic arrangement of all parts.
- Coordinate closely with the Service Department to ensure timely availability of parts for repair jobs.
- Support customers and technicians in identifying the correct spare parts.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and obsolete inventory and take corrective action.
- Ensure proper billing, pricing, discounts and documentation as per dealership/OEM policies.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor parts sales, margins, inventory value and monthly targets.
- Develop business through retail counter sales and external customers.
- Coordinate warranty-related parts requirements with the Service/Warranty team.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and proper organization of the parts warehouse.
- Lead and supervise spare parts staff and ensure disciplined daily operations.
- Prepare regular reports on stock, sales, purchases, pending orders and inventory ageing.

- Ability to work under targets and maintain accurate records
Qualification & Experience
Qualification: Graduate / Diploma preferred
Experience: 3–7 years in tractor, automobile, agricultural machinery or spare-parts operations preferred.
