Store Manager

Chetan Dryfruit is looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to manage day-to-day store operations and lead the store team. The ideal candidate should have good retail experience, strong customer-handling skills, and the ability to manage sales, staff, inventory, billing and overall store operations.

The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth store functioning, achieving sales targets, maintaining product quality and presentation, and providing an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.

• Lead, train and supervise store staff and allocate daily responsibilities.

• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets and drive store sales.

• Attend to customers, understand their requirements and provide suitable product recommendations.

• Handle customer complaints and ensure a positive shopping experience.

• Manage stock receiving, checking, storage, replenishment and inventory.

• Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices and monitor product expiry.

• Maintain attractive and well-organised product displays and shelves.

• Monitor billing, cash handling and daily store transactions.

• Check stock levels of fast-moving products and coordinate for timely replenishment.

• Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene and overall presentation.

• Monitor discounts, offers and ensure correct implementation at the store.

• Maintain daily sales, stock and operational reports.

• Coordinate with management regarding sales, inventory, staff performance and store requirements.

• Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.

• Handle online orders/platform orders when required.

• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of dry fruits, sweets, farsan and other products.

• Ensure company policies, SOPs and discipline are followed by the team.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 3–6 years in retail/store management preferred.

• Experience in FMCG, food retail, supermarket, sweets, bakery, dry fruits or similar retail business will be preferred.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.

• Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets preferred.

• Should be responsible, disciplined and comfortable handling store operations independently.

• Candidates from Vasai, Nalasopara, Virar, Naigaon and nearby areas will be preferred.

• It is a Full Time రిటైల్ / కౌంటర్ అమ్మకాలు job for candidates with 3 - 5 years of experience.
