Inventory & Stock Management

• Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods.

• Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

• Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and annual stock audits.

• Implement FIFO/FEFO methods to prevent material wastage.

Process & Documentation

• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/Tally/MS Excel.

• Ensure proper documentation: GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Issue Notes, and Stock Registers.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports for management.

• Coordinate with the accounts department for material reconciliation and vendor bills.

Coordination & Support

• Work closely with production, purchase, and quality departments for smooth operations.

• Raise material requisitions to purchase department when stock reaches reorder level.

• Liaise with suppliers for delivery schedules and defective material replacement.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure safe storage practices as per material type (flammable, heavy, fragile, etc.).

• Implement 5S and Kaizen practices in store management.

• Comply with ISO, safety, and statutory guidelines related to storekeeping.

Team & Supervision

• Supervise store assistants, helpers, and material handlers.

• Train staff on proper handling, documentation, and safety practices.

• Monitor team performance and ensure discipline within the store.
