Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and process-driven Shift Incharge to manage day-to-day operations at our Prashant Vihar dark store. You will oversee floor activities during your assigned shift, leading a team of pickers, packers, and loaders to ensure every customer order is fulfilled accurately and dispatched within Zepto’s 10-minute delivery promise.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift & Floor Management: Handle end-to-end store operations during the designated shift, including opening/closing checklists and running seamless handovers.

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and allocate tasks to a team of 5–10 floor associates (pickers and packers) to maintain peak productivity.

• SLA & Speed Monitoring: Track real-time order fulfillment metrics on the system to ensure orders are packed and handed over to delivery partners well within the given Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Inventory Control: Maintain stock accuracy, implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) protocols, monitor stock health, and minimize store shrinkage/wastage.

• Rider Coordination: Coordinate with delivery riders on the floor, troubleshoot real-time delivery or tech issues, and handle minor order escalations.

• Reporting: Maintain basic daily logs, track shift performance metrics, and report key numbers directly to the Store Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: 12th Pass or Graduate (BBA/Any degree preferred).

• Experience: Prior experience as a floor supervisor, team lead, or shift incharge in a fast-paced environment (e.g., Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto, Amazon, or retail supermarkets) is highly valued.

• Tech Skills: Familiarity with smartphone applications and basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets for managing attendance and reporting.

• Core Competencies: Strong communication skills (Hindi & English), high energy levels, and a problem-solving mindset to tackle fast-moving floor situations.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including early morning or night shifts).
