Stores & Purchase Executive (Senior Level)

🎓 QUALIFICATION

✔ B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory) ✔ Strong practical knowledge of Stores & Purchase Operations

🎓 ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

✔ Diploma / Certification in Material Management / Logistics / Supply Chain ✔ Knowledge of Export-Import (EXIM) documentation ✔ ERP system training (SAP / Inventory Module preferred)

⏳ EXPERIENCE

✔ Minimum 10+ Years Experience in Stores & Purchase ✔ Must have experience in Engineering / Manufacturing Industry ✔ Preference for candidates from Industrial Pumps / Mechanical Equipment / Process Industry

🧾 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

📦 STORES MANAGEMENT

✔ Complete handling of stores operations (Raw Material, WIP & Finished Goods) ✔ Maintain accurate stock records, inventory control & reconciliation ✔ Manage material inward & outward entries ✔ Preparation & verification of GRN (Goods Receipt Note) ✔ Ensure proper storage, labeling & traceability of materials ✔ Issue materials to production as per requirement

✔ Conduct periodic stock verification & audits ✔ Maintain proper store documentation & registers

🛒 PURCHASE MANAGEMENT

✔ Vendor development, evaluation & coordination ✔ Preparation of Purchase Orders (PO) and supplier follow-up ✔ Rate negotiation, delivery schedules & commercial terms finalization ✔ Ensure timely procurement as per production planning ✔ Perform cost comparison & control activities ✔ Maintain complete purchase records & documentation

💻 SYSTEM / ERP WORK

✔ Working knowledge of ERP / Tally or any inventory software ✔ Daily entry of stores & purchase transactions ✔ Generate MIS reports (inventory & procurement) ✔ Ensure data accuracy & system discipline

🔧 TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

✔ Strong knowledge of Inventory Management & Stock Control Systems ✔ Experience in ERP Software (SAP / Oracle / Tally / Any ERP) ✔ Knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) ✔ Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM)

✔ Good knowledge of industrial raw materials & mechanical components ✔ Ability to read basic engineering drawings & specifications

✔ Hands-on experience in: • GRN process & verification • Purchase Order (PO) handling • Vendor comparison & cost analysis • Rate negotiation & procurement planning

✔ Knowledge of inventory control methods (FIFO / LIFO / Min-Max) ✔ Experience in stock audit, verification & reconciliation ✔ Basic knowledge of GST & purchase documentation compliance ✔ Strong skills in MS Excel (MIS, stock analysis, reporting)

🏭 INDUSTRY REQUIREMENT

✔ Mandatory experience in Engineering / Manufacturing Company ✔ Knowledge of industrial materials, components & consumables ✔ Experience in industries such as: • Industrial Pumps • Centrifugal / Process Pumps • Water & Fluid Handling Systems • Customized Engineering Products
