Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Warehouse Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of the store, including receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, powders, spare parts, and consumables.
Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of stock levels using ERP software or Excel.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Material Handling & Quality Control
Inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and compliance with Purchase Orders (PO).
Ensure proper storage conditions for specialized plasma spray materials (e.g., moisture control for ceramic or metallic powders).
Manage the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) system to prevent material obsolescence.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN), Material Requisition Notes (MRN), and Gate Passes.
Generate weekly and monthly inventory reports, highlighting slow-moving or dead stock.
Coordinate with the Accounts and Procurement departments for timely billing and reordering.
4. Safety & Compliance
Ensure the store area remains clean, organized, and compliant with industrial safety standards (5S).
Manage the safe handling of hazardous materials or heavy machinery components.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Graduate in any stream (Diploma in Material Management is a plus).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a store or warehouse role within an industrial/engineering environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with ERP software (like Tally, SAP, or similar).
Communication: Fluent in Hindi and Marathi; basic English for documentation purposes.
