Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials, tools, and equipment delivered at the site.

• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances.

• Ensure proper storage and preservation of construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, pipes, electrical items, and finishing materials.

• Issue materials to site engineers and contractors against approved material requisitions.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement department for timely replenishment.

• Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), stock registers, and inventory reports.

• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory records.

• Identify and report shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, and discrepancies.

• Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward material movement.

• Coordinate with project engineers, purchase teams, vendors, and subcontractors regarding material requirements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and safety standards.
