We are looking for a proactive and personable Shop Assistant to be the heartbeat of our daily operations. You aren’t just "working a register"—you are the primary point of contact for our customers. Your goal is to make every person who walks through our doors feel welcome, assisted, and excited about their purchase.
Customer Excellence: Proactively approach customers to offer assistance, provide product information, and close sales.
Till Operations: Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the POS system; process returns and exchanges according to store policy.
Visual Standards: Maintain a "shop-ready" appearance at all times by folding, hanging, and organizing merchandise to brand standards.
Inventory Management: Assist with deliveries, sensor-tagging, and replenishing stock from the storeroom to the floor.
Store Safety: Ensure the shop floor is free of hazards and follow all health and safety guidelines.
The "People" Factor: You are naturally outgoing, empathetic, and find it easy to strike up a conversation.
Quick Thinkers: You can stay calm and helpful even when there’s a long queue at the till.
Attention to Detail: You notice when a display looks messy or a price tag is missing.
Flexibility: You understand that retail moves fast and are willing to help out where needed, whether it’s cleaning or stock-taking.
