Sales Staff (In Shop)

We are seeking a friendly, fashion-oriented, and dynamic Sales Girl to join our saree boutique. The ideal candidate will have a passion for traditional and contemporary Indian wear, excellent communication skills, and a knack for providing personalized service to help customers select the perfect saree for any occasion.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Greeting & Service: Warmly welcome customers, understand their requirements (occasion, budget, style), and assist them in selecting sarees from our collection.

Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of various saree fabrics (silk, cotton, chiffon), designs, weaving techniques (Banarasi, Kanjeevaram), and care instructions to answer customer queries accurately.

Sales Driving: Utilize sales techniques to maximize sales, cross-sell (matching blouse pieces, accessories), and meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.

Shop Maintenance: Ensure the sales floor is organized, neat, and visually appealing. Properly handle, fold, and re-stock sarees to keep displays tidy.

Transactions: Process customer payments and returns accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Customer Relationship Building: Build long-term rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and referals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian fashion, saree draping styles, and fabric types.

Communication: Strong verbal communication skills, with fluency in local languages and English/Hindi.

Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, patient, and approachable attitude with the ability to handle customers professionally.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and festival seasons.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
