Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Assist customers in finding the perfect jewellery pieces to suit their needs and occasions, providing a high-quality shopping experience.
Sales: Showcase jewellery pieces, explain their features and craftsmanship (e.g., Kundan work, materials, etc.), negotiate prices, and finalize sales transactions to meet or exceed sales targets.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the extensive collection, including designer bridal sets, contemporary wear, earrings, bracelets, and pendants, to answer customer queries accurately.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Monitor Stock Levels: Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure physical stock matches system records.
Receive and Process Stock: Handle incoming shipments of jewellery products, verifying quantity, weight, quality, and hallmarking against order details.
Organize and Label: Ensure all products are correctly tagged, labeled with barcodes or SKUs, and stored securely in their designated locations to prevent misplacement or damage.
Replenishment: Coordinate with the store manager or inventory manager to identify low stock levels and place orders for replenishment to avoid stockouts of popular items.
Loss Prevention: Adhere to strict security protocols for handling high-value items and participate in regular audits to minimize shrinkage.
Merchandising: Ensure the showroom presentation is attractive and aligns with the brand's aesthetic, rotating displays to keep the store looking fresh and to highlight older stock.
Store Operations: Manage daily store activities and ensure smooth retail operations, including handling various payment modes like Cash, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in jewellery or luxury goods, is often preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients and team members.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous concentration on details for accurate inventory management and quality assurance.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to the store environment and handle multitasking efficiently.
Education: Educational requirements can vary, but a 10th pass or graduate degree is common.
