Job Summary
We are hiring a customer-oriented Salesperson for a apparel store, it's an Indian ethnic wear brand known for modern, elegant, and handcrafted apparel such as kurtis, suit sets, and Indo-Western outfits, blending traditional Indian crafts with contemporary styles. The role involves assisting customers, driving sales, maintaining store standards, and handling basic computer-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and understand their apparel needs.
Assist customers in selecting Indian ethnic wear and Western wear.
Explain product details including fabric, fit, design, pricing, and care instructions.
Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
Maintain visual merchandising and ensure the store is clean and organized.
Handle billing, invoicing, and POS system operations.
Update sales and inventory records using basic computer systems.
Manage stock, tagging, and display replenishment.
Handle customer queries, exchanges, and returns professionally.
Coordinate with the store manager and team members.
Follow company policies and customer service standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass (Graduation is an added advantage).
Basic knowledge of Indian ethnic wear and Western apparel preferred.
Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and the local language.
Basic computer knowledge (POS billing, MS Excel/Word).
Pleasant personality with a customer-first approach.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
