Key Responsibilities :
Customer Experience & Sales
Greet and engage customers warmly, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations.
Present and demonstrate diamond and fine jewellery, articulating the features, benefits, and craftsmanship of each piece.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective selling, upselling, and cross-selling.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, including processing transactions (cash, credit, financing), handling exchanges/returns, and arranging for necessary documentation.
Build and maintain a loyal customer base by consistently following up on inquiries, new arrivals, and special promotions.
Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, ensuring a satisfactory resolution that preserves the brand's reputation.
Diamond Product Expertise (The 4Cs)
In-depth knowledge and application of the 4Cs (Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat) in diamond evaluation and sales presentation.
Effectively explain the significance of the 4Cs to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions based on quality and value.
Skilled in the safe and proper handling of high-value diamond jewellery, including cleaning, presentation, and secure storage protocols.
Stay current on gemological information, industry trends, and diamond certification standards (e.g., GIA, IGI).
Showroom & Inventory Management
Maintain a visually appealing, clean, and organized showroom and display cases in line with brand standards.
Assist with accurate inventory management, including daily stock counts, tagging, and ensuring all merchandise is secured.
Report inventory discrepancies, slow-moving items, and customer feedback to the Showroom Manager.
Support promotional events, visual merchandising changes, and seasonal campaigns.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree
Experience: Proven experience in luxury retail sales, preferably within the jewellery, watch, or high-end fashion industry.
Product Knowledge: Strong foundational or expert knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery craftsmanship.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex product details persuasively.
Professionalism: Polished appearance, highly professional demeanor, and a strong customer-focused attitude.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
Availability: Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
