Position Overview: The position of a Customer Service Executive plays a critical role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers and contributing to the overall success of Nature’s Basket.
Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, assisting with product information, pricing, and locating items within the store. Provide recommendations and assist customers in finding suitable products to meet their needs. Stay up-to-date with our gourmet products, their origins, usage, features, benefits, etc., and accurately inform customers about them. Quickly learn about new products, services, and procedures to address customer questions effectively. Be adaptable to changing customer needs and preferences. Operate cash registers accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain proper cash-handling procedures. Assist in stock replenishment, inventory management, and conducting regular stock checks. Be willing to take on additional responsibilities or tasks as needed to support the team's success. Step in to assist colleagues during peak periods or when additional support is required. Actively promote and sell premium products, striving to meet or exceed sales targets. Cross-sell and upsell to maximize sales opportunities. Assist in maintaining an attractive and organized store display, ensuring that products are well-stocked and visually appealing. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or hospitality. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for gourmet food and a willingness to learn about new products. Strong sales and customer-convincing abilities. Basic computer skills for operating the point-of-sale system.
