Pharmacy Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Pharmacy Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy. The role will be responsible for ensuring smooth pharmacy operations, accurate inventory management, regulatory compliance, and timely availability of medicines while maintaining strong controls over stock and billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day hospital pharmacy operations and ensure smooth dispensing.

• Maintain accurate inventory, including stock levels, batches, and expiry tracking.

• Coordinate procurement, vendor management, and timely availability of medicines.

• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical and system inventory.

• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy regulations and maintain required documentation.

• Create and maintain pharmacy billing, returns, discounts, and financial controls.

• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and hospital departments for pharmacy requirements.

• Identify and immediately report stock discrepancies, shortages, or irregularities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and inventory management.

• Good communication and team-management skills.

• Proficiency in pharmacy software and basic Excel.

• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
