We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Pharmacy Counter Salesman to assist customers, dispense medicines, and manage daily pharmacy operations. The candidate should have basic knowledge of medicines, good communication skills, and the ability to read prescriptions accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in purchasing medicines and healthcare products.
Read and understand doctor prescriptions and dispense the correct medicines.
Provide guidance on medicine usage and dosage.
Maintain stock and monitor expiry dates of medicines.
Arrange medicines properly on shelves for easy identification.
Suggest suitable substitutes when a specific brand is not available.
Handle billing, cash, and digital payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the pharmacy counter.
Follow pharmacy rules and regulations for selling medicines.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of common medicines such as Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, and Amoxicillin
Ability to read prescriptions
Good communication and customer service skills
Basic computer and billing knowledge
Inventory and stock management skills
Qualifications:
Minimum 12th pass (Science preferred)
Experience in a medical store or pharmacy is an advantage
Work Environment:
Retail pharmacy / medical store.
