Pharmacy Counter Salesman

Role 1: Registered Pharmacist

​Prescription Review: Analyzing doctor prescriptions to ensure correct dosage and medicine compatibility.

​Legal Compliance: Maintaining the 'Dangerous Drugs' register and ensuring all sales meet government health regulations.

​Patient Counseling: Explaining how to take medication, potential side effects, and storage instructions (e.g., "keep in fridge").

​Supervision: Checking the work of assistants to ensure the right medicine is being packed.

​Role 2: Pharmacy Assistant / Counter Sales

​Customer Service: Greeting walk-in customers and helping them find non-prescription items (OTC).

​Stock Organization: Sorting medicines alphabetically or by category so they are easy to find during rush hours.

​Expiry Management: Checking shelves monthly to remove medicines that are nearing their "Best Before" date.

​Order Picking: Gathering the items listed on a prescription and handing them to the Pharmacist for final verification.

​Role 3: Billing & Inventory Executive

​Billing Operations: Generating GST-compliant invoices quickly using the pharmacy software.

​Stock Entry: Entering New Stock (Purchase Invoices) into the computer system as soon as the delivery arrives.

​Vendor Coordination: Calling distributors to place orders when stock levels of fast-moving medicines are low.

​Cash Management: Handling daily cash, UPI, and card payments and tallying them at the end of the day.
