Internal Audit Manager

• Plan and execute internal audit programs across stores, warehouses, finance, procurement, and operations.

• Review financial and operational processes to identify risks, control weaknesses, and irregularities.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend corrective actions.

• Conduct audits of inventory, stock movement, cash handling, purchases, sales, expenses, and supplier transactions.

• Perform stock and cash audits at retail outlets and warehouses.

• Identify cases of fraud, pilferage, financial discrepancies, and process violations.

• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.

• Follow up with departments to ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, and Store teams during audits.

• Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers.

• Present significant audit findings and recommendations to senior management.

• Support management in improving operational efficiency and risk management.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

• Relevant professional qualification such as CA / ACCA / CIMA / CIA will be an advantage.

• 7–10 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably in retail, supermarket, hypermarket, FMCG, or large-scale commercial operations.

• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, accounting, and audit procedures.

• Experience in retail store, warehouse, inventory, cash, and procurement audits is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Excellent communication, reporting, and team-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and travel to different stores/locations when required.
