Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented F&B Manager to oversee the overall operations of Box Bites outlets. The role will be responsible for driving sales, profitability, food quality, customer experience, operational standards, team performance, inventory and cost control across the assigned outlets.

For a 10+ year profile, strong experience in multi-outlet QSR/F&B operations, P&L, food and labour cost, inventory, SOP implementation and team leadership should be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

1. F&B Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Box Bites outlets.

• Ensure smooth functioning of dine-in, takeaway and delivery operations.

• Maintain consistent service speed, food quality and customer experience.

• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and operational standards.

2. Sales & Business Performance

• Drive outlet sales and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.

• Analyse sales trends, footfall, average order value and product performance.

• Develop strategies to increase sales and improve outlet profitability.

• Monitor outlet-wise performance and take corrective actions.

3. P&L & Cost Control

• Take ownership of outlet-level P&L and profitability.

• Control food cost, labour cost, wastage and other operating expenses.

• Monitor food cost and portion control.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.

4. Inventory & Procurement

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of raw materials.

• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores and Supply Chain teams.

• Control wastage, stock variance, pilferage and obsolete inventory.

• Ensure proper stock rotation and inventory documentation.

5. Team Management

• Lead and manage Outlet Managers, Duty Managers, Chefs, Commis and service staff.

• Plan manpower requirements and coordinate with HR for recruitment.

• Conduct regular training, performance reviews and team briefings.

• Ensure employee discipline, grooming, attendance and productivity.

• Focus on employee engagement and retention.

6. Food Safety & Hygiene

• Ensure strict compliance with FSSAI, food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.

• Conduct regular outlet inspections and hygiene audits.

• Ensure proper food storage, temperature control and handling practices.

• Take immediate corrective action for hygiene or food-quality issues.

7. Customer Experience

• Maintain high standards of customer service.

• Handle customer complaints and escalations effectively.

• Monitor customer feedback and online reviews.

• Implement corrective measures to improve customer satisfaction.

8. SOP & Audit Compliance

• Implement and monitor Box Bites SOPs across all outlets.

• Conduct regular operational audits.

• Ensure compliance with brand, safety and service standards.

• Prepare action plans for audit observations.

9. MIS & Reporting

• Review daily sales and operational reports.

• Monitor key KPIs including:

  • Sales

  • Food Cost

  • Labour Cost

  • Wastage

  • Inventory Variance

  • Customer Feedback

  • Productivity

  • Outlet Profitability

• Present weekly/monthly performance reports to management.

10. New Outlet & Business Support

• Support new Box Bites outlet openings and operational setup.

• Assist in manpower planning, training and SOP implementation for new locations.

• Support menu trials, operational improvements and business expansion.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in F&B, QSR, restaurant chains, food retail or hospitality.

• Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial / multi-outlet leadership role is preferred.

• Experience managing high-volume QSR operations will be an advantage.

Preferred Background:
Candidates from reputed QSR/F&B brands such as McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Café Coffee Day, Barbeque Nation or similar organizations may be preferred.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, F&B Management, Business Administration or related field.

• MBA / PG qualification in Hospitality or Business Management will be an added advantage.
