Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Floor Manager to manage daily showroom operations, supervise the sales team, ensure excellent customer service, and achieve sales targets. The candidate should have a good understanding of retail sales, home appliances, inventory management, and showroom operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Showroom & Floor Management

• Oversee daily showroom operations and ensure smooth functioning.

• Maintain product displays, pricing, cleanliness, and overall showroom presentation.

• Ensure staff discipline and compliance with company policies.

2. Sales Team Management

• Supervise, guide, and motivate sales executives to achieve sales targets.

• Allocate duties, monitor staff performance, and ensure proper attendance and discipline.

• Train staff on product knowledge, features, pricing, and customer handling.

• Assist the sales team in closing deals and resolving customer queries.

3. Customer Service & Sales

• Assist customers in selecting suitable home and electrical appliances based on their needs and budget.

• Ensure accurate information regarding product specifications, warranties, offers, and after-sales services.

• Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally.

• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and sales conversion.

4. Inventory & Product Management

• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the warehouse or inventory team.

• Ensure proper product labelling, display, storage, and handling.

• Track fast-moving and slow-moving products and report stock requirements.

• Coordinate product deliveries, installations, returns, and exchanges with the concerned teams.

5. Billing & Order Coordination

• Coordinate with the billing team to ensure accurate invoicing and order processing.

• Verify product details, quantities, prices, discounts, and promotional offers.

• Track pending orders, deliveries, and installation schedules.

• Maintain proper documentation of sales, returns, exchanges, and warranty requests.

6. Sales Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.

• Track sales targets, customer footfall, conversion rates, and team productivity.

• Prepare sales reports and share performance updates with management.

• Identify areas for improvement in showroom operations and sales performance.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good communication, negotiation, and customer-handling abilities.

• Knowledge of retail sales and showroom operations.

• Understanding of home appliances and consumer electronics such as refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, and other electrical products.

• Ability to manage sales targets and resolve customer complaints.

• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and billing software.

• Good organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.

• Relevant experience in retail sales or showroom management will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in retail sales, showroom operations, or floor management.

• Experience in home appliances, consumer electronics, or electrical appliance showrooms will be an added advantage.

• Previous experience managing a sales team and achieving sales targets is preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, commercially aware, and capable of independently managing showroom operations. The candidate must be confident in leading a sales team, handling customer escalations, coordinating inventory and billing, and ensuring achievement of sales and operational targets.
