Job Title - Counter Sales

Location - Gariahat, Avishikta, Rajdanga

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engage With Customers & Promote Products

• Actively greet and approach customers to introduce them to products.

• Explain features, benefits and uses of products clearly to customers.

• Demonstrate product usage (especially for items like fragrances, beauty, or health products).

🔹 2. Drive Sales & Meet Targets

• Encourage product trials and persuade customers to make purchases.

• Work toward daily or monthly sales targets assigned by the brand/store.

• Suggest additional or related products (upselling/cross-selling) to increase the sales value.

🔹 3. Product Display & Merchandising

• Set up and maintain attractive product displays and promotional stands.

• Ensure products are well-organized, visible, and appealing to shoppers.

• Maintain kiosk or counter cleanliness and stock appearance.

🔹 4. Customer Assistance & Service

• Answer customer questions and help them choose the most suitable products.

• Provide a positive shopping experience with good service and follow-up.

• Collect customer feedback and preferences to relay to management.

🔹 5. Information Gathering & Reporting

• Track customer reactions, preferences, and common queries.

• Report sales performance, customer insights, and promotional feedback to supervisors or the marketing team.

• May need to prepare simple reports at the end of the day or shift.
