Reporting To: Café Manager / Mall Operations Head
The Assistant Café Manager will support the Café Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, customer service excellence, inventory control, and revenue management to ensure smooth functioning of Box Bite Café.
Assist in managing daily café operations.
Ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
Supervise and guide café staff (cashiers, service staff, kitchen staff).
Prepare staff duty rosters and manage shifts.
Monitor attendance and performance.
Conduct on-the-job training for new employees.
Ensure excellent customer experience.
Monitor daily sales and billing.
Upsell café products and promote special offers.
Maintain customer satisfaction standards.
Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
Coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment.
Ensure proper stock reconciliation and minimize wastage.
Maintain inventory records and daily consumption reports.
Supervise billing and POS operations.
Ensure proper cash handling and daily cash reconciliation.
Support accounts team during audits.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness of café area, kitchen, and storage.
Follow SOPs and mall guidelines.
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
3–5 years of experience in Café / Restaurant / QSR operations.
Experience in team handling and customer service.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management.
Good communication and leadership skills.
