We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assitant Store Manager to manage daily store operations, drive sales performance, ensure excellent customer service, and lead the store team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly sales targets and like-for-like (LFL) growth.

• Monitor store performance and ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Drive sales through effective team management and customer engagement.

2. Customer Service & Store Experience

• Ensure excellent customer service through proper Meet, Greet and Direct practices.

• Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.

• Maintain high customer satisfaction and achieve 85%+ Mystery Shopping Audit scores.

• Ensure proper visual merchandising and store display standards.

3. Store Operations & Stock Management

• Ensure smooth daily store operations and follow company SOPs.

• Manage stock receipts, inventory, stock consolidation and product displays.

• Monitor stock movement and take necessary steps to control stock shrinkage.

• Maintain operational and commercial audit standards.

• Prepare and share daily, weekly and monthly store reports on time.

4. Marketing & Promotions

• Execute in-store marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

• Ensure proper implementation of visual merchandising guidelines.

• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

• Coordinate with the marketing, operations and franchise teams.

5. Team Management

• Manage, guide and motivate store staff to achieve business targets.

• Handle staff recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management.

• Prepare staff rosters and ensure adequate staff availability.

• Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.

• Support employee engagement, retention and development.

6. Administration & Compliance

• Ensure daily and weekly operational reviews.

• Maintain store facilities and administrative standards.

• Prepare and share Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and other MIS reports.

• Ensure staff grooming, hygiene and uniform standards are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail store management or a similar role.

• Strong sales, customer service and team management skills.

• Good English communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.

• Understanding of inventory management, store operations and visual merchandising.

• Ability to handle store targets, reports and team responsibilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle or branded stores will be preferred.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

• Target-oriented with the ability to manage daily store operations independently.
