Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on incoming e-waste materials such as:

• Refrigerators

• Washing Machines

• Air Conditioners

• Microwaves

• Compressors

• Other household and commercial e-waste

• Identify different grades and variants of materials and components.

• Inspect key recoverable parts such as:

• Copper

• Aluminium

• Brass

• Iron

• Plastic

• Compressors

• Motors

• Radiators

• PCB Boards

• Wiring and other reusable components

• Segregate material based on quality and category.

• Capture quality observations and prepare inspection reports.

• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and plant teams to ensure correct materialclassification.

• Highlight any quality deviations, mixed lots, or non-conforming material.

• Support pricing and recovery teams by providing accurate quality inputs.

• Ensure compliance with SOPs and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of e-waste products and components.

• Ability to identify different grades and quality of scrap material.

• Basic knowledge of refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, compressors, and other white goods.

• Attention to detail and strong observation skills.

• Ability to work in a warehouse or plant environment.

• Basic computer skills for recording inspection data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/Graduate (preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience in e-waste, scrap recycling, electronics repair, dismantling, or quality inspection.

• Freshers with strong technical knowledge of electrical/electronic appliances may also be considered.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accuracy of quality assessment.

• Timely completion of inspections.

• Reduction in quality-related discrepancies.

• Correct identification and segregation of material.

• Compliance with SOPs and reporting timelines.

• Support in improving recovery and pricing accuracy.

The role provides exposure to e-waste recycling operations, recovery analysis, pricing, warehouse operations, and quality management, with opportunities to grow into Senior Quality Executive, Warehouse Operations, Procurement Quality, or Plant Quality roles.
