AC Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable AC Technician responsible for installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of air conditioning systems at our retail shops and factory premises. The technician should ensure uninterrupted operation of cooling systems and comply with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

• Install split, window, cassette, ductable, and VRF/VRV AC systems

• Perform testing and commissioning after installation

• Ensure proper wiring, piping, insulation, and gas charging

Maintenance & Servicing

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of AC units

• Regular cleaning of filters, coils, blowers, and drainage lines

• Check refrigerant levels, compressors, thermostats, and electrical panels

Repair & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults

• Handle gas leakage, compressor failure, cooling issues, and noise problems

• Ensure minimum downtime at shop outlets and factory

Shop & Factory Support

• Maintain optimal temperature for shop display areas and production zones

• Attend emergency breakdown calls at outlets and factory

• Coordinate with store/factory staff for maintenance schedules

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain service records, job cards, and maintenance logs

• Follow safety guidelines and company SOPs

• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and major repairs

Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in commercial & industrial AC systems

• Good knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, and compressors

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple locations

• Willingness to travel between shop outlets and factory
