Role Overview

Akshar Árbol International School (AAIS) is seeking a committed Human Resource Manager / HR Officer to manage day-to-day HR operations for the school. The role works closely with the and School Leadership Team to ensure smooth people processes, policy compliance, and a positive staff experience across teaching and non-teaching teams.

This position is ideal for a hands-on HR professional with experience in schools or similar institutional environments.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

• Manage end-to-end HR processes as per school SOPs

• Implement HR policies, attendance, and leave management for all staff categories

• Handle employee documentation, letters, confirmations, and exits

• Conduct exit interviews and coordinate final settlements with Accounts

HR MIS & Reporting

• Maintain employee database and personnel files

• Prepare HR MIS, dashboards, manpower status, attrition, and recruitment reports

• Share periodic HR updates with School Leadership

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Support recruitment planning, job postings, screening, and interview coordination

• Manage joining formalities, employee records, and induction processes
  
  

Training & Professional Development (PD)

• Coordinate internal and external PD programs

• Track attendance, collect feedback, and maintain PD records

Payroll & Leave Coordination

• Share attendance and leave inputs with Accounts for payroll processing

• Support salary processing for teaching, non-teaching, and Contractual Staff

• Process leave encashment and reimbursements

Campus & Compliance Support

• Maintain HR contracts, agreements, and confidential records

• Raise policy deviations and critical issues to the School Leadership Team

• Support school events, audits, and HR-related campus activities
  
  

Skills & Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Management, or related field

• 3–5 years of HR experience (school/institutional experience preferred)

• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills

• High level of discretion and confidentiality

• Proficient in MS Excel, email, and HR documentation
