Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospital HR Manager to oversee and manage all human resources functions in a healthcare environment. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruiting medical and non-medical staff, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, implementing HR policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture in line with hospital values.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
Manage end-to-end recruitment process for medical, nursing, administrative, and support staff.
Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs.
Conduct onboarding and orientation programs.
HR Compliance & Policy Management:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and hospital policies.
Update and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and patient information.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Organize employee engagement, recognition, and wellness programs.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends.
Performance Management:
Implement and monitor appraisal systems and KPIs.
Support continuous professional development and training for hospital staff.
Compensation & Benefits:
Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and leave management.
Benchmark compensation against industry standards to attract and retain talent.
HR Data & Reporting:
Maintain HRIS and personnel records.
Generate reports on staffing, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and healthcare compliance.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in HR software (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR is a plus.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced hospital environment.
Interaction with clinical and non-clinical staff.
May require occasional evening or weekend availability.
