Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources professional to manage all HR functions in our steel furniture manufacturing unit.
The role involves talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and ensuring smooth HR operations aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
Identify manpower requirements and develop job descriptions.
Source, screen, and hire candidates for factory, office, and sales positions.
Coordinate onboarding, induction, and training for new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Maintain a positive work environment and resolve employee grievances.
Organize employee engagement programs, welfare activities, and skill development sessions.
3. Performance Management
Implement performance appraisal systems.
Monitor employee productivity and work discipline.
Provide feedback and support managers in handling underperformance.
4. Compliance & Legal
Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESI, PF, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and attendance systems.
Coordinate health and safety compliance for factory staff.
5. Payroll & Administration
Oversee payroll preparation in coordination with accounts.
Manage leave records, overtime, and shift scheduling.
6. Training & Development
Identify skill gaps in manufacturing and administrative teams.
Plan and execute training programs for workers and supervisors.
Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
3–5 years of HR experience (preferably in manufacturing / industrial sector).
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office, Google sheets and HR software.
Working Conditions
Based at the manufacturing plant.
Regular interaction with factory workers, supervisors, and management.
