Medical Receptionist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and well-trained Receptionist for our diagnostic centre. The ideal candidate should have complete knowledge of common blood tests, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic investigations and be able to confidently guide patients regarding available tests and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle patient registration, appointments, enquiries, and reception operations.

2. Have good knowledge of blood tests, ultrasound examinations, and other diagnostic investigations.

3. Explain basic test requirements, preparation, and procedures to patients.

4. Manage computerised billing, receipts, and patient records.

5. Maintain and update Excel sheets and daily centre records.

6. Coordinate smoothly with doctors, radiologists, technicians, and patients.

7. Ensure a professional, courteous, and patient-friendly experience.

Requirements:

1. Prior experience as a receptionist in a diagnostic centre, hospital, pathology lab, or imaging centre preferred.

2. Strong knowledge of diagnostic tests and investigations is essential.

3. Good computer skills, including billing software and MS Excel.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently.
