The Hotel Receptionist is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant guest experience.
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures
Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly or escalate when required
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments regarding room status
Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
Process payments and issue invoices/receipts
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable
High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality degree preferred)
Previous experience as a hotel receptionist or front desk staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Knowledge of reservation software
Multilingual abilities
Problem-solving and conflict-handling skills
