JOB DESCRIPTION – FLOOR MANAGER

Position: Floor Manager – Game Zone & Restaurant
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, responsible and customer-focused Floor Manager who can independently manage the day-to-day operations of both the Game Zone and Restaurant.

The Floor Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring smooth customer service, monitoring game operations, coordinating with the kitchen and restaurant team, handling customer complaints, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth operations during peak hours, weekends and events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Game Zone Operations

• Supervise daily operations of the arcade, bowling and other gaming activities.

• Ensure all games and attractions are operational and customer-ready.

• Coordinate with the technician for machine breakdowns and maintenance.

• Monitor game floor cleanliness, safety and staff deployment.

• Ensure proper customer guidance and game usage procedures.

2. Restaurant Operations

• Supervise restaurant floor and service staff.

• Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth order flow and timely service.

• Monitor food quality, presentation and service standards.

• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, hygiene and proper table setup.

• Monitor customer orders, billing and service-related issues.

3. Team Management

• Allocate duties and manpower according to business requirements.

• Monitor attendance, grooming, discipline and staff performance.

• Conduct daily team briefings before shifts.

• Train and guide staff on customer service and SOPs.

• Ensure adequate manpower during weekends, holidays and events.

4. Customer Service

• Welcome and assist customers professionally.

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.

• Ensure a positive experience across both Game Zone and Restaurant.

• Collect customer feedback and communicate recurring issues to management.

5. Sales & Revenue Support

• Monitor daily sales and customer footfall.

• Support upselling of games, packages, food and beverages.

• Ensure proper implementation of offers and promotions.

• Coordinate with the sales team for birthday parties, school groups, corporate events and other bookings.

6. Cash & Billing Control

• Monitor POS and billing activities.

• Ensure proper cash/card/UPI transaction procedures.

• Verify shift closing and daily sales reports.

• Report any billing or cash discrepancies to management.

7. Safety & Hygiene

• Ensure safety standards are followed throughout the Game Zone and Restaurant.

• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of customer areas.

• Report accidents, incidents, equipment issues and other operational concerns.

• Ensure staff follow company SOPs and safety procedures.

8. Inventory & Maintenance

• Monitor operational stock, restaurant consumables and game-related supplies.

• Coordinate with the Store/Kitchen/Technical team for requirements.

• Minimize wastage and ensure proper utilization of company resources.

9. Daily Reporting

• Prepare/maintain daily operational reports.

• Report sales, footfall, customer complaints, machine breakdowns and staff issues.

• Highlight operational problems and suggest corrective actions to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 2–5 years in Floor Management / Hospitality / F&B / Gaming / Entertainment / Retail.

• Experience handling both Restaurant and Game Zone operations will be preferred.

• Graduate/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.

• Strong team-handling and leadership skills.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of POS, billing and MS Excel.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• English, Hindi and Kannada communication skills preferred.
