Job Summary:
A pantry boy assists in maintaining the pantry or service area, mainly in hotels, restaurants, offices, or hospitals. The role focuses on cleanliness, organization, and supporting food and beverage service.
Key Responsibilities:
Keep the pantry clean, tidy, and well-organized
Prepare and serve tea, coffee, water, and light refreshments
Assist staff with serving food and beverages when needed
Wash cups, plates, and pantry utensils
Refill pantry supplies such as tea, sugar, cups, and snacks
Dispose of waste properly and follow hygiene rules
Support basic cleaning duties in the pantry and nearby areas
Follow instructions from supervisors or office staff
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of cleanliness and hygiene
Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively
Polite behavior and good communication skills
Physically able to stand and move for long periods
