Job Title: Wall Painter

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract-Based

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wall Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paint, varnishes, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, both interior and exterior. The painter must be detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, patching holes, priming, etc.)

• Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

• Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications

• Cover floors, furniture, and trim with drop cloths and masking tape to protect surfaces

• Remove old paint or wallpaper as required

• Ensure proper ventilation and safety during painting processes

• Inspect completed work for quality and make touch-ups as necessary

• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition

• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations on job sites

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a wall painter or similar role

• Familiarity with painting tools and materials

• Good knowledge of color theory and surface finishes

• Attention to detail and precision in work

• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in tight spaces

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents or drawings

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Certification in painting or finishing (optional but advantageous)

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of waterproofing and wall putty

• Experience in texture painting or decorative finishes

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
