Staff Nurse

Our Eye Centre is looking for a B.sc/ GNM Nurse to join our team. The candidate should be a trained nurse who has some experience in the Operation Theatre and Day care. The candidate should have a Delhi Nursing Council Registration.He/ She will be expected to handle patients in the regular OPD, Day Care and in the Operation Theatre with empathy and sincerity.

Nurse responsibilities and duties

· Provide bedside care

· Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)

· Prepare and administer injections

· Assist surgeons in performing surgeries.

· Instrument cleaning, Autoclaving & ETO.

· Ensuring proper caliberation of equipments& repair in case of breakdown.

· Ensuring filling up of consumable sheet.

· Ensuring physical verification of the stock.

· Ensuring washing of soiled linen as per HIC policy.

· Ensuring segregation of waste in pre-defined color coded bags.

· Taking care of pre-operative & post-operative patients.

· Giving medication to pre–operative & post-operative patients.

· Recording vitals.

· Assisting in case of emergencies.
