Nurses / Compounder are responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, which includes assessing health status, administering medications, implementing treatment plans, and monitoring patients for changes. They act as patient advocates, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with medical teams. Key duties also involve maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to infection control, and providing emotional support.
Patient Assessment and Monitoring: Conducting physical exams, taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), and identifying changes in health status.
Medication Administration:
Safely administering oral, IV, intramuscular, and topical medications, along with managing treatments.
Care Planning and Implementation: Developing individualized care plans, setting recovery goals, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
