Job Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting doctors in medical procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards

• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respiration)

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control in assigned areas

• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and post-care

• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide first aid when required

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for patient care

• Follow hospital policies, ethical standards, and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing (GNM or B.Sc. Nursing)

• Registered Nurse with valid Nursing Council license

• Minimum 0–2 years of experience (freshers may apply if specified)
