Job Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients. The role involves patient assessment, medication administration, monitoring vital signs, assisting doctors during procedures, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and infection-control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.

• Provide direct nursing care according to the patient's care plan.

• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.

• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.

• Monitor patients before and after procedures and report any changes promptly.

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing notes, patient records, and documentation.

• Ensure proper medication storage, handling, and administration.

• Follow infection-prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene and biomedical-waste management.
