We are looking for a **Chief Host** who will lead the facility with compassion, clinical expertise and operational excellence. This is a residential leadership role for someone who believes that caring for seniors is both a profession and a purpose.

# Eligibility

### Essential Qualifications

* B.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)

* GNM

* BAMS

### Experience

* Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience.

* Experience in hospitals, critical care, assisted living, rehabilitation centres or similar healthcare settings.

* Previous experience in leading nursing teams or managing patient care operations will be preferred.

Candidates must possess a strong understanding of nursing procedures, medication management, emergency response and patient care protocols.

The Chief Host is the overall custodian of the resident experience within the facility.

This role goes far beyond nursing. It combines clinical leadership, hospitality, resident engagement, team management and operational ownership to ensure every resident receives safe, compassionate and dignified care.

# Key Responsibilities

## Clinical Leadership

* Oversee the overall health and wellbeing of all residents.

* Ensure adherence to nursing protocols, medication administration and clinical SOPs.

* Coordinate with doctors, consultants and other healthcare professionals.

* Respond calmly and effectively during medical emergencies.

* Monitor residents proactively and escalate concerns when required.

## Resident Experience

* Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

* Create a warm, welcoming and home-like environment.

* Address resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.

* Ensure every resident feels respected, valued and cared for.

## Team Leadership

* Lead caregivers, nurses and support staff.

* Plan and supervise daily operations.

* Manage duty rosters and manpower deployment.

* Guide, mentor and support team members in their daily responsibilities.

* Foster a culture of accountability, discipline and compassion.

## Facility Operations

* Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the assisted living facility.

* Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety and resident care.

* Coordinate admissions, discharges and resident transitions.

* Ensure all operational SOPs are implemented consistently.

* Work closely with housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance and other support functions.

* Monitor service quality across the facility.

* Ensure timely and accurate documentation.

* Conduct regular quality checks and operational reviews.

* Identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.

* Drive continuous improvement in resident care and service standards.

# Work Structure

This is a **live-in residential leadership position**.

The Chief Host will be provided comfortable accommodation and meals by the organisation.

Rather than following a conventional shift schedule, the role is based on ownership of the facility. A typical day includes morning resident rounds, supervision of daily operations, interaction with residents and families, coordination with doctors and staff, review of quality standards, and ensuring smooth continuity of care throughout the day.

The Chief Host is expected to remain reasonably accessible for operational guidance and emergency support whenever required.
