Nurse Technician

The Nursing Assistant supports the nursing team in providing high-quality patient care. The role involves assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort and safety in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.

- Monitor and record patients' vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

- Observe patients' conditions and report any changes to the Registered Nurse or physician.

- Support patients in maintaining personal hygiene and comfort.

Clinical Support

- Assist nurses and physicians during medical procedures and examinations.

- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.

- Collect specimens for laboratory testing when required.

- Assist with wound care and dressing changes under supervision.

Patient Safety & Infection Control

- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.

- Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste.

- Adhere to patient safety standards and hospital policies.

Documentation

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

- Update patient charts and nursing notes as instructed by supervising nurses.

- Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Team Collaboration

- Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff.

- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings.

Qualifications:

ANM COMPLETED WITH 1-2YR. EXP.
