Karuna — Hiring Home Caregivers (Elder, Mom and Baby & Recovery Care)

About the Role

Karuna is a verified, on-demand home caregiving platform serving families across Bengaluru's Sarjapur corridor. We're hiring trained caregivers to support elderly clients and people recovering from surgery or hospitalization — with daily living, mobility, and companionship support.

This is not a clinical/nursing role — no injections, medication administration, or ICU-level care.

What You'll Do

Assist with daily activities: bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding

Support mobility: walking, transfers, assistance getting in/out of bed or chairs

Accompany clients to hospital visits, physical therapy, temple, or other outings

Provide companionship and light monitoring for elderly or recovering clients

Report any change in client condition to the family and Karuna hub coordinator

Who We're Looking For

Minimum qualification: BSc Nursing / GNM / ANM, OR a completed caregiving certification (e.g., through a recognized caregiver training center)

Prior experience in elder care, home nursing, or post-operative care preferred, not mandatory

Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working independently in a client's home

Willingness to complete Karuna's certification training before starting bookings

Training

1-month structured training curriculum (via Karuna's training partners or in-house program) before you're certified to take bookings

Candidates already trained/certified through our partner training centers can be fast-tracked

Shifts are rotational and hub-assigned. Once selected, shift duration is fixed — changes require hub supervisor approval. Night care (post-10 PM) shifts opening soon.

Guaranteed monthly salary, paid regardless of booking volume, plus performance incentives.

Location & Work Area

Assigned to a Karuna hub in the Sarjapur corridor, Bengaluru. Bookings dispatched within your hub's service radius — minimal travel between clients.
