Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the dental operatory before each patient appointment.

• Assist the dentist during all dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.

• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments according to infection control protocols.

• Prepare and organize dental materials, instruments, and equipment.

• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.

• Welcome and guide patients, making them feel comfortable throughout their visit.

• Take and record patient medical history and assist with documentation.

• Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.

• Assist with taking dental photographs, impressions, and digital scans (training provided if required).

• Manage inventory of dental supplies and inform the clinic about stock requirements.

• Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic at all times.

• Coordinate with the front desk for patient flow and appointment management.

• Support the clinical team with any additional duties as required.
