Job Summary

Yash Dental Group of Clinics is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team at our Mogappair West clinic. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in delivering high-quality patient care, maintain infection control standards, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure a comfortable experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including restorations, root canal treatments, extractions, implants, orthodontic procedures, and preventive care.

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms before and after each procedure.

• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols.

• Prepare dental materials required for various procedures.

• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.

• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

• Take and process dental X-rays (where permitted and certified).

• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.

• Monitor and maintain inventory of dental instruments and consumables.

• Coordinate with the front office to ensure smooth patient flow.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area.

• Assist during emergency dental procedures whenever required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Dental Assisting or a related healthcare qualification.

• Freshers are welcome to apply. Previous experience in a dental clinic is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control practices.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Positive attitude and a patient-centric approach.

Preferred Skills

• Chairside assisting experience.

• Knowledge of dental software and patient record management.

• Basic understanding of dental radiography.

• Teamwork and multitasking abilities.

• Professional attitude and ethical work practices.
