Job Description – Staff Nurse

Position : Staff Nurse
Location : Porur
Department : Healthcare / Nursing

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to patients as per medical instructions and healthcare standards.

• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records.

• Administer medications, injections, treatments, and IV fluids as prescribed by doctors.

• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control protocols within the healthcare facility.

• Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment plans, medications, and recovery procedures.

• Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.

• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide first aid when required.

• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.

• Follow hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (GNM / B.Sc Nursing).

• Valid Nursing License / Registration.

• Good knowledge of patient care procedures and medical practices.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts and emergency situations.
