KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Childcare: The primary
responsibility of ANM is to provide exceptional childcare services to
the children in their care. This includes feeding, bathing, dressing,
and playing with the children, as well as supervising them during their
activities and helping with homework. The staff should be patient, kind,
and have a genuine love for children.
Safety: A nurse should always prioritize
the safety and well-being of the children in their care. They should be
knowledgeable about child safety standards and procedures and should
follow them rigorously.
Development: A nurse should
encourage and support the developmental needs of the children in their
care. This includes engaging the children in age-appropriate activities
and games, helping them with their homework, and fostering their
creativity and imagination.
Communication and Reporting: A nurse
should be able to communicate effectively with the family and keep them
informed about the children's activities, behaviours, and any concerns
or issues that may arise. The staff should also be able to provide
regular reports to the parents about the children's development and
progress.
Flexibility: A nurse should be
flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs and schedules of the
family. They should be willing to work weekends and holidays and be
available for overtime when needed. The staff should also be able to
travel with the family if required.
